Nuts have plenty of health benefits. Nuts are a great source of potassium, manganese, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, vitamin, fluoride & selenium. These super foods contain antioxidants which can protect the body against cell damage. 

Nuts protect our body from inflammation. The fluoride found in the nuts helps keep dental problems away. Omega -3 fatty acid rich foods protects your skin against premature ageing & fine line also keep the skin protected against bacteria that causes acne, dark spots, eczema. Here are some nuts that are good for skin.

Almonds – Almonds have vitamin E & manganese which improves immune system & reduce the inflammation on the skin. These nuts are loaded with essential fatty acids like Omega-3 and Omega-6 which hydrate & moisturize the skin. It improves complexion & preventing it from looking dull. Helps to protect the skin from acne, dark spot and eczema problem. Vitamin E present in almonds has UV protective properties.

When to Eat & how to Eat 

Eat the almonds at morning daily. Soak 5-6 almonds at the night in water & eat at morning or day time. Do not eat more than 6-7 almonds. 

Cashews – Manganese present in the cashews gives instant energy & also helps to kill the bacteria present in the mouth which keeps dental problems away. 

Cashews helps to fight against the pimple problems. In cashews high amount of selenium is present which act as antioxidant with the help of vitamin E. It hydrates the skin, reduce the swealing of the skin, good for infected & damaged skin. The high concentration of essential fatty oil present in cashews helps in retaining moisture of the skin. 

When to eat & how to eat: – 

Daily eat 4-5 cashews at evening.

Pistachio – Pistachio also gives instant energy & also helpful in weight control. Antioxidants present in pistachio, controls blood sugar level that minimizes the pimple problems. If you have pimple problem, you must eat pistachio daily. Vitamin E & essential fatty acids present in Pistachio gives the skin youthful radiance, glow & fights against ageing process. 

When to eat & how to eat: – 

Daily eat 4-5 pistachios at evening. 

Walnuts – Walnuts are rich source of proteins, vitamins & minerals. It also contains omega-3 fatty acids which has anti – inflammatory properties. It helps to improve vitamin B level which gives healthy glowing & nourishing skin.  It slows down the skin aging process. vitamin C, vitamin A and other anti-oxidant in walnut protects our skin cells from the free radical damage, and keep various signs of premature aging like fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, dark spots, and skin blemishes.

Raisins (Dried Grapes) – It contains dietary fibers, vitamins & minerals which helps to repair body tissues. Vitamin C enhances the production of collagen & skin elasticity which improves skin smoothness and prevents wrinkles and skin sagging. Raisins help with skin detoxification as they contain detoxifying compounds like vitamin C and dietary fibers. They remove toxins, pollutants, and other unwanted substances from the body. 

Dates – These are good source of vitamin C, enhances the skins elasticity, makes the skin fair, smooth & tender, decreases the fine lines & wrinkles. 

When to eat & how to eat: – 

Daily eat 3-4 walnuts, 1-2 dates & 2-4 raisins at night, before going to sleep. 

It also helps to improve digestive system.   

Always remember do not eat dried fruits & fresh fruits together.
